Cyber Security – approaches to protect critical infrastructure
How safe are we really from digital threats?
A panel discussion during the Berlin Science Week
Have you ever thought about how safe we are from digital threats? In a world that allows increasing interconnectivity and constant evolution in digital matters, our IT systems are at risk more than ever. Digital attackers are constantly refining their strategies – threats lurk behind any networked digital device. Cyber security is becoming a major challenge, making it a key factor for the success of any institution. But how can we protect critical infrastructure from these threats? What measures are already in place? Will possible attacks ever be diminished?
To answer these questions, the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, the Complexity Science Hub Vienna and ETH Zürich set up a panel discussion as part of this year’s Berlin Science Week, featuring renowned experts on the subject. Coming from different areas, the speakers shed light on these issues to inspire a heated discussion on the latest developments in protecting critical infrastructure. Of course, the public will have a chance to pose any burning questions on this topic and become versed in the world of cyber security themselves.
