Safe Vehicle Operation

In addition to the battery system as the central single component of hybrid and electric vehicles, the vehicle is considered as an overall concept in research on safe electromobility. In order to ensure a safe vehicle operation, investigations are carried out for taking into account the entire operating phase including the end of the life of the vehicle. This includes warning concepts, shutdown strategies in all operating modes, safety shutdown while driving, safe charging and finally safe disposal of vehicles at the end of their lifetime.
