Direct Doctorate (applications in the first application window only)

  • For a successful application, a confirmation of the future supervisor (ETH professor) is required. This letter has to state that they will provide the funding for the merit-based scholarship during your MSc studies and the salary for the subsequent doctoral studies.
  • Motivation letter: please state in your motivation letter your suitability for the planned research. Furthermore, an outstanding academic record is required.
