D-?INFK Professor Olga Sorkine-?Hornung has been named an ACM Fellow for her?contributions to digital geometry processing, computer animation, computer graphics and visual computing.

The Simon-Widmer Award in memory of Wilhelm Simon and Michael Widmer honors scientists for their contribution to fundamental and applied analytical science and the education of analytical scientists. This year, the Swiss Chemistry Society honors Andrew DeMello with this award for his great contributions to the field of bioanalytical science and microfluidic technology. deMello is currently Professor at the ICB and Head of the Institute.
