HMZ Award 2023 to Michael J. Müller and Helena D. Aicher
The "HMZ Award - The PhD team challenge" for 2023 goes to Helena D. Aicher from the University of Zurich and to Michael J. Müller who completed his doctorate at ETH Zurich.
The project "Neurodynamics of Prosocial Emotional Processing Following Serotonergic Stimulation With N, N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and Harmine in Healthy Subjects" carried out at the Neuroscience Center (ZNZ), was awarded the prize. Congratulations to the team for this inspiring and interdisciplinary collaboration!
Helena D. Aicher is a PhD student in the research group "Psychedelic Research & Therapy Development" of Dr. Milan Scheidegger at the Department of Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University of Zurich. Michael J. Müller completed his doctorate at the Department of Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich. His doctoral thesis was carried out under the direction of Prof. Johannes Bohacek from the Institute of Neuroscience and under the supervision of Dr. Milan Scheidegger.
The award is presented by HMZ (Hochschulmedizin Zürich).
