?What holds the world together??
We are living in times of change. The world seems to be out of joint – and many former certainties have disappeared practically overnight. Fundamental questions are gaining in importance, and one of these will be the focal point of Scientifica on 2 & 3 September 2023: What holds the world together?
What is our world made up of? What are the connections between individual elements, how do they communicate with each other and how do they form systems, some of which are extremely complex? These questions play a fundamental role for researchers in all fields, regardless of whether their focus is on atoms or the universe, organisms or machines, philosophies or formulas, markets or epidemics, buildings or the wonders of nature.
