Optical Society of America archive now accessible

Thanks to the Centennial Archive, more than 144,000 articles from the Optical Society of America are now available online.

The archive contains all publications since the society was founded in 1916 right up to 2015:

The research papers from the fields of optics and photonics also include historically interesting documents, such as the report on the 1947 society meeting, where physicist Edwin Herbert Land external pageshowcased the first polaroid camera as the "most exciting part of the program".

Access is possible from the ETH Zurich network or on ETH-Bibliothek premises.
