New strategy for the Collections and Archives of ETH Zurich
The new strategy for 2021 to 2024 has been approved
In March 2020, the Executive Board agreed on the “Strategy Collections and Archives 2021 to 2024”. This document lays out the strategic principles in the following seven areas:
- Research
- Teaching
- Dialogue with the public
- Development of the collections
- Protection of cultural property
- Digital transformation
- Organisation and cooperation
Areas of action and priority measures to be taken were identified for each of the strategic principles.
Over the course of the coming years, there will be a stronger focus on fostering dialogue between the university and the public, improving cooperation with the departments in research and teaching, and ensuring the information science expertise of ETH Library is used to further develop the Collections and Archives of ETH Zurich.
The “Strategy Collections and Archives 2021 to 2024” document was drafted in 2019 and 2020 as part of a project headed up by ETH Library on behalf of the Vice President of Infrastructure.
