Wanted: friendships that began at ETH
Four years ago, we wrote profiles of couples who met at ETH. We’re now looking for friends who also got to know each other at our university. Tell your story in the next edition of the ETH employee magazine “life”!
“Basically, it is always the connections to people that make life worth living.” So said Wilhelm von Humboldt over 200 years ago, and countless recent studies have also shown that social relations can have a crucial influence on our satisfaction with life.
That’s why we’d like to dedicate the next edition of the ETH employee magazine to the people who make wonderful moments even better, and who make even the most difficult times bearable: our friends. We are therefore looking for friendships that began at ETH. Whether during a joint project, at a team event or in an entirely different way – explain how your friendship began and what makes it special in the next edition of “life”!
If you’d like to take part, please send an email with a brief description to by 12 May. We will look through all the submissions and select three pairs of friends for an interview and photoshoot. You will of course be able to read and correct the text before it is published.
