Flexible working during the “Return to the office” phase

Before the summer break, ETH employees from the Octavo in Zurich Oerlikon showed us how they are transitioning back to the office. In this external page video they described what they were most looking forward to after many months of working remotely and explained how their working styles have changed (“The post-pandemic workplace at ETH Zurich“).
Now the team from ETH transfer is sharing their experiences in a external page new video: Silvio Bonaccio, Franziska Stadler, Melanie Johnson, Mira Kr?mer and Christina Dittrich-Megej explain how they’re dealing with the “Return to the office” phase and how they’re redesigning their everyday work routines as a team, with regular in-person team meetings, work-from-home days and virtual meetings.
Video series to inspire new ideas
The “Return to the office” video series explores the question of how to adjust to flexible working and the “new normal” after the pandemic. The series aims to serve as inspiration and provide insights into how you and your team can handle returning to ETH and engaging in flexible, mobile working going forward.
Your opinion matters!
If you’d like to share your thoughts on flexible working, there’s an opportunity coming up: this autumn the Office of the Vice President for Personnel Development and Leadership (VPPL) is conducting a survey of all ETH employees to learn about their experiences and preferences regarding the new flexible working situation. Additional information and a link to the survey will be sent out soon.
