The aim of this course is to develop skills and actions to improve the effectiveness of science in informing policymakers. The lectures will introduce the concepts of environmental governance and evidence-based policymaking. In the case studies, you will study and evaluate concrete examples of policymaking. You will conduct interviews with practitioners and prepare a first draft of a policy brief supported by the case study supervisors. You will learn how scientific evidence is incorporated by investigating selected examples and processes. For more details, please read the abstract.
