Semper Aula (HG G 60)
The Semper Aula (HG G 60) is a listed building and therefore only available to a very limited extent. The Executive Board is committed to preserving and protecting the fabric of the building.
Therefore, there are special conditions for using the Semper Aula:
- It is mainly used for prestigious internal events for which the imposing setting of the Aula is appropriate.
- It cannot be used for teaching or training courses.
- As in all teaching rooms, eating and drinking are not allowed.
- The Aula has 99 seats, permanently arranged in concert-style seating. Tables may not be erected.
- The foyer of the Aula is part of the room and cannot be booked separately. Refreshments are permitted in the foyer.
- Events organised by third parties (external event organisers) must be sponsored by a member of the Executive Board. The terms of the Regulations on Room Use apply, including the scale of charges.
- No platform, stage or staging elements may be erected. This applies equally to fixtures and fittings installed by external companies.
- No installations (gantries, platforms etc.) may be erected inside or immediately outside the hall.
- The grand piano in the Aula may only be played by qualified pianists. Permission must be obtained from the Licensing Office (Services).
