Renato Renner mit dem ersten ALEA Award ausgezeichnet
Renato Renner, ETH Professor for Theoretical Physics and head of the research group for Quantum Information Theory at the Department of Physics, has won the first ALEA Award of ETH Zurich. The ALEA Award honours leaders who enable advanced and innovative working conditions.
Renato Renner, head of the research group for quantum information theory at the Department of Physics, received the first ALEA Award in December 2017. The ?ALEA Award? was initiated by the Academic Association of Scientific Staff at the ETH Zurich (AVETH), Equal!, Office for Equal Opportunities, and the ETH Human Resources Department.
The award, which succeeds the previous Golden Tricycle award, honours leaders who enable advanced and innovative working conditions and who promote and support actively the reconciliation of work, family and avocational engagement.
Renato Renner prevailed over a total of 36 nominees and accepted the award from AVETH representative Isabella Schalko as part of the Christmas reception of the ETH Board of Directors of ETH Zurich.
